In his social media page yesterday,Jason Runo reports that it took them 203 days, 44,000 km and across 26 countries since the start of the journey from Nairobi to reach Rio de Janeiro.
They celebrated with Pele at Copacabana Beach and on top of Corcovado, the Statue of Christ and symbolic end point of their expedition.
“This marks the conclusion of our journey from Africa to Brazil, to our knowledge the first time that such a road journey has been undertaken”says Jason.
