Life-Gets-Better Scholarship
4 year scholarship
Tuition and fees, room and board, $500 per semester stipend, internships and laptop
Biology, Chemistry, Comp Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Math and Physics Major

 

National Achievement Semifinalists,
Hispanic Achievement Semifinalists
National Merit Semifinalists
3.50 (unweighted) GPA
1800 SAT or a 27 ACT

Distinguished Scholars Award Scholarship (Out-of-State Residents)
4 year scholarship 
1800 SAT or 27 ACT
3.50 (unweighted) GPA
Tuition and fees. (room and board @ $7,000)
National Achievement Semifinalist receive double-room occupancy rate and board.
Pell Grant eligible students receive a stipend not to exceed $500 per semester.
National Achievement Finalist will receive a laptop, as well.
National Achievement Scholars receive a laptop, a $500 semester for books and a $500 per semester stipend.
George W. Gore Assistantship
4 year scholarship
1650 SAT or 23 ACT

 ACT 24 or SAT 1680 – 1724  $3,000
 ACT 25 or SAT 1725 – 1754  $4,000
 ACT 26 or SAT 1755 – 1784  $5,000
 SAT 1785  $6,000
IBiology, Chemistry, Comp Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Math or Physics majors receive an extra award of $1,000 annually.
FAMU Foundation Scholarships
Robert T. Bacon Scholarship
School of Business and Industry student from the Northeast Region.

FAMU Alumni Chapters 
Washington, D.C Chapter awards approximately $10,000 in scholarships. To students with a 2.55 average. Funds are sent to the FAMU director of Alumni Affairs, Coast Chapter. Interested students should contact the FAMU Foundation at (850) 599-3860.

Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
The Department of Children and Family Services provides scholarship assistance to some persons who are physically or mentally handicapped or who have a behavior disorder due to social or cultural deprivation. The applicant must have average high school grades and at least a “C” average if already enrolled in Florida A&M University.

Melvene Hardee Scholarship
Applicants admitted to the Teacher Education Program (TEP). Essay required and financial need a decisive factor. For more information, contact the College of Education at (850) 599-3482.

Elinor Jackson Endowed Scholarship Fund
For a student in the Occupational Therapy Program. For more information, contact the School of Allied Health Sciences at (850) 599-3818..

School of Journalism and Graphic Communication Scholarships
“B” average in English
3.4 GPA
26 ACT or 1100 SAT
Based on academic credentials and practical skills; awards may go as high as $2,500 per year. For more information, contact the School of Journalism at (850) 599-3379.

ROTC Scholarships
Army ROTC Scholarships
Awards of 2-, 3-, and 4-year and green and gold scholarships pays full tuition, room and board, $450 annually for books, supplies and equipment, and $1,500 in spending money, tax free.
Interested students should contact the Department of Military Science at (850) 599-3515/3516.

Air Force ROTC Scholarships
4, 3 1/2, 2 1/2, or 3 year merit scholarships pay full tuition, books, laboratory expenses, and
a $100 per month tax-exempt allowance.
4 year scholarships ap due by  12/1515 of the senior year in high school.

Tuition and fees, books, uniforms, and $100 per month allowance.
