A stretch of road that links Langata Road to Bomas of Kenya had been named Dr. Evans O Kidero Road. Kenyans on social media were not amused, with many asking what the governor had done to accord himself such an honour.
On Friday, Kidero wrote on Twitter that it was done without his knowledge and he had instructed officials to pull down the sign immediately.
