Currently the former PM, who left on Tuesday for a 3-week visit to the US and Mozambique is putting finishing touches to his Sh1 billion 74-roomed stupendous private complex in Riat Hills overlooking Kisumu City.
The mansion “dwarfs” State House , Nairobi , which is President Uhuru Kenyatta’s official residence. The House has three complete helipads and a small airstrip that can accommodate a Presidential jet. The monster house has also a bunker which was designed by a famous German Engineer. Meanwhile, Raila Odinga has ordered six armoured cars from Alpha Armouring Panzerung, Germany, to beef up his security. The machines which cost an arm and leg will be shipped into the country in the next few days.
