Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko caused a stir at Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday where Cord leader Raila Odinga’s family members are awaiting Fidel’s postmortem results.

Sonko arrived in a convoy of several cars with armed guards to pick the body of the mother of former Kamukunji MP Simon Mbugua.

He left shortly after.

Government pathologist Dr Johanes Oduor is at the morgue to conduct the exercise which he began on Monday.

He postponed it saying it was best done in ‘natural light’.

Two other pathologists representing the family are also at the home.

Raila’s family is also represented by his elder brother and Nominated MP Oburu Odinga.

His sister and Kisumu deputy governor Ruth Odinga who was at the home momentarily left with Fidel’s sister Rosemary Odinga.

The autopsy results are expected to be released later today.

A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday and the burial on Saturday at the grandfather’s home in Bondo, Siaya county.

Fidel died early on Sunday morning after a night out with friends.
