He told residents of the constituency to come out in large numbers and vote for Tutui saying he was well placed to unite the people.
“It is only government in power that can solve problems facing you in this constituency and no one should cheat you that the Opposition has anything to offer,” He said.
The Deputy President who also addressed a public rally at Oldonyo Orok School in Namanga ward urged the electorate to vote wisely by choosing a candidate whose party has a development agenda for the area.
“Use your vote wisely by electing a development conscious leader who will work will support government initiated projects and avoid those who come to you with empty rhetoric,” he said.
He said sound leadership for any region should be judged based on delivery of development projects.
“Do you want an MP who makes empty noise or one who committed delivering development projects?” he asked.
Ruto said that government has allocated over Sh4 billion to the Kajiado County government this financial year and will tarmac 200 kilometres in the area.
Present were MPs Katoo ole Metito (Kajiado South), Samuel Lelilit (Samburu West), Moses Sakuda (Kajiado Central) Tuiyan Soipan (Narok Woman Representative) and her Kajiado counterpart Mary Senata.
