The nation newspaper has spent quite a portion of its pages trashing Pastor, Bishop, and Apostle Nganga. I have never seen a newspaper so committed to destroying a person. At least the Citizen TV gave the man a chance to make a fool out of himself: It was fair and balanced and gave Kenyans who only knew the โ€œpriestโ€ by name, to have him in their pictorial mental library. I really do not know what the hype is all about! The man is who he is.

When Christ decided to build his church, he decided on the proper way of building the foundation. He got a hold of local men; He spent days and nights with them.

By the time he was done with the 12 one had betrayed him and the others had taken off in case they be identified with him. This, even after spending three years teaching them! His disciples had made an analysis of the natural state of following Him and concluded it was not easy. It involved personal sacrifice.
After the resurrection he spent some time with them, though it should be noted that some had forgotten about Him and gone back fishing. At the upper house locking themselves in fear of being killed, he appeared to them and they received the Holy Spirit. It is then they became His real witnesses. Then He left them a few days later commanding them to โ€˜Go into the whole world and preach the Gospel, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe all that he had commanded themโ€ฆ.โ€ Math: 28:19

Even after spending all this time with these guys, He had to go outside the group to get a properly seasoned person to lay the theological foundation for His Church. It is telling that out of the 11, He felt necessary to force (Paul was forced to discipleship he was not converted) Saul of Tarsus to active service on his behalf.

Christ intended that the Church be led by qualified people. Quality men qualified to properly handle the Word of God. He knew that matters of the Spirit required disciplined and well groomed men in understanding! He trained the twelve in his Theological Seminary and still they lacked. Therefore, He reached out to the Pharisaic order and made a Pharisee his top general in the foundation of Church Doctrine and process! You see, Christ wanted His church to be knowledgeable of the things of the Spirit: To know the truth so that the truth can set them free.

Those who are fighting pastor Nganga need to behold this man from the perspective of Christ. He never went to school. The man is a Kikuyu business man who having failed in pursuing qualifications, found an easy way to make money. And man has he made money! Interesting enough is that though the Bible tells the believer to seek knowledge, the Kenyan believer is constantly pulled by these un-educated men. They seat at their feet and listen to screaming and shouting and distorted music which covers up the fact that these screamers have no content.

Nganga is innocent of any crimes as a โ€˜pastorโ€™ because he himself is blind. His interview with Citizen TV revealed a man so ignorant of Biblical truth and ignorant of even the language he uses to โ€˜preachโ€™.

Speak to those who serve at Serena Hotel and they will testify that on many occasions he got out of there drunk. This is a clear sign that he is being eaten by his transgressions. His mind has lost the marks of reality and truth to him is non-existence. Whether he is guilty of the accident is not important. What is important is that he is guilty of St. Paulโ€™s proclamation in Philippians. 1: 15ff โ€œIt is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.โ€

Those who seek the real Christ go to churches whose shepherds are men who have gone to seminary: Men who are not only filled by the Spirit of God, but who know the truth. It cannot be that Christ chose Paul for no reason. He needed a well educated man in the historical development of the covenants. A man who spent years under a well qualified professor. Then, He breathed into him His Spirit and thus we have proper order of Church ministers in the New Testament!
So I rejoice that even in ignorance, Nganga preaches Christ while condemning himself. What I do not rejoice in is Atheists like Nation Newspaperโ€™s Gaitho, who though blind to the gospel of Christ, write columns condemning pastors while standing next to the Gates of Hell!
