The Passing Away of Tom Apiyo at St Thomas’s Hospital London

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Tom Apiyo. Tom was the loving husband of Selina Molli and father to Gilbert, Judith and Milly. He was taken away from us after a short illness in the early hours of Friday 6th November 2015 at St Thomas’s Hospital London.

The family would like to invite you to a fundraising event to be held at The Corner Pin Pub, Slade Green Road, Erith, DA8 2HX on the 14th November 2015. The nearest station to the venue is Slade Green. Buses 89 and 99 will also take you there. Directions here.

We would like to welcome as many people as possible on the day. The meeting will start at 3 pm and finish at 11pm. The funds raised will help to cover the costs of repatriating the body to Kenya.

Your prayers, presence and financial contribution will be highly appreciated. Daily meetings are taking place in Thamesmead, 23 Watersmeetway SE28 8PX.

  1. what a shame. tom and i shared a flat during our student days in wandsworth, london, in the late 80’s and early 90’s. we called each other ‘mate’. we remained friends since.

    unfortunately as we grew older we sort of drifted apart save for the once in a while phone call. i knew where he lived and vice versa. we just got preoccupied and slowly forgot about how important friendship was.

    it was only today while surfing the net that i stumbled across this article and got informed of his untimely demise.

    my condolences to his lovely wife sally and children.
