Popular Mugithi artiste Paul Mwangi, popularly known as Salim Junior, is dead.
His brother, Njuguna Salim, told the Nation the singer passed away on Saturday morning at the Nakuru War Memorial Hospital.

“My brother has been sick for quite some time. He died this morning after being admitted to the War Memorial Hospital,” said Njuguna.
Mr Njuguna said the body of the musician is lying at the War Memorial Hospital mortuary.
Salim Junior is famous for songs like Sarafina, Muti Uyu Mukwona remix among others.
He has produced a number of gospel and secular songs.
