โ Former devolution minister Anne Waiguru goes to EACC offices for questioning over the KSh 791 million National Youth Service scandal
โ Waiguru had been cleared of any wrong doing in the scandal but the commission reopened the investigations after a key suspect claimed that she was directly involved in the NYS deals
Former devolution cabinet secretary Anne Waiguru has appeared before the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
Waiguru was, on Monday, February 22, questioned at the EACC headquarters in Nairobi after an affidavit by a key suspect in a multi-million shilling scandal implicated her.
Anne Waguru was accompanied by tens of her supporters who camped at the entrance of the EACC offices as she went in for grilling. They said she helped them a lot during her time as a minister; she resigned in November citing health reasons.
