Mama Lucy Muthoni Kibaki: Life And Times In Pictures
Lucy Muthoni Kibaki was born in the 1940sย in Mukurwe-ini, Mt Kenya region to christian parents; Rev John Kagai and Rose Nyachoma.
She was a trained teacher and taught atย Kamwenja Teachers College before she was transferred to Kambui College. She got married to Mwai Kibaki in 1962 after a 2-year romance, and quit her teaching job the following year to raise her family.
