IEBC commissioner Thomas Letangule has slammed Cordโs push for dialogue over electoral reforms.
In an interview with Al Jazeera on Wednesday, Letangule said Cord is not interested in electoral reforms and faulted it for holding parallel Madaraka Day celebrations in Uhuru Park.
โWhat we are witnessing in this country now is a power struggle. We feel there is so much going on politically that is not really the IEBC that Cord is aiming at,โ he said. Letangule said the political parties pushing for the removal of the electoral commissioners are โin panicโ ahead of next yearโs elections.
