Honeydrops LLC is happy and proud to announce that Miss Fashion and Beauty Africa will be held in Dallas on June 25 th 2016 at the Wyndham Gardens North Dallas (2645 LBJ Freeway. Dallas, Texas 75234), beginning with the VIP and VVIP reception at 6pm – 7:30pm, and the main event 8pm – 12 midnight.
The reception will include an opportunity for our VIPs to participate in an auction to bid for exclusive art pieces donated by Ms.Sarah Furaha the Creative director of Sarah and Joy.
Proceeds from this auction will go towards our scholarship fund for victims of domestic violence and scholarships for fashion mentoring/ education program for delegates aged 7 to 28 years.
The countries represented are Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Cameroon, Guyana in South America and the great State of Louisiana.
We have 9 amazing delegates and 8 junior delegates. The designers are: Ekene Oseni of Nick Rose Fashions, Lyza Faye, Christopher Michael of Christopher Michel Forbes , Betty Osae Shekinah Creations, Teddy Legnideon Blokes and Divas, and April Green of Obsessive Designer Amor meets Nubian Collection.
Entertainment will be provided by our Host Ms.Cindi B, of 97.9 The Beat FM. Her co-host will be Valentino Lucas, who will also be performing some of his top hits to serenade our audience.
Our top Artist is Dynamiq, an award winning Reggae sensation from South Sudan. We also have other performances by our spoken word artist Tro’Juan and our Trashad Alladin dance group.
This event promises to deliver on the best of African Fashion, Beauty and Entertainment. Our mission is to elevate African fashion and beauty into mainstream International fashion through our platform as well as raise awareness to domestic violence.
