Mike Sonko is one of the National leaders accompanying Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto in the Ukambani tour,at some stops,Sonko is seen sharing the same vehicle with Ruto. Here is what he had to say:
During the campaign period we went around the country promising what the Jubilee government would do for Kenyans if elected and I was happy to accompany the President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, Governor Alfred Mutua among other leaders to Inspect the progress of rehabilitation works at the Yatta Canal Kithimani in Matuu, Machakos County.
The National Government has invested 2 billion shillings in the project which will provide clean drinking water for the people of yatta and the entire Machakos County kwa wenye hawajui huku ni home na maji to us ni muhimu Sana we have suffered for so long.I believe that Leaders were elected to bring development projects kwa mitaa and not vandalize peoples businesses. I made a promise to myself that I’ll always unite with Leaders wenye wanaleta maendeleo to wananchi nakama PR ni kuletea wanjiku development nitaichapa hadi Wanjiku atosheke with tangible development projects.
