Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery has hit back at Cord co-principal Moses Wetangโula, once again revisiting the infamous battering by his wife.
Mr Nkaissery told the politician that the government could not have charged disgraced Congolese musician Koffi Olomide as the complainant the same way Mr Wetangulaโs wife was not charged after she battered him.
Mr Wetangula had spoken in the Senate on Tuesday evening where he argued that there was sufficient evidence to charge Mr Olomide in Kenya for assaulting one of his female dancers, despite there being no complainant, after the woman refused to press charges.
The Bungoma senator said the Lingala singer should have been prosecuted for assault on Kenyan soil and not deported.
Mr Nkaissery hit back at the senator with an assault case that had the senator himself as the victim.
