Churchill and Crew in Backstage Preparations Before a Show Churchill Show is undoubtedly one of the most watched television shows on Kenyan screens.
Behind the scenes, veteran comedian Daniel Ndambuki and his crew work tirelessly to put together one Africa’s biggest comedy shows.
In an exclusive video interview with Nairobi News, the comedian and his crew reveal what goes on at the backstage before stepping on the main stage.
You have probably wondered what the backstage looks like and today is your lucky day. Don’t hold your breath, though, it ain’t all that.
Asked if he still has butterflies, Churchill says:
“Yes I do, it’s very normal because each performance is different and the audience too. You only get one chance to make a first impression, it’s a new show each time so you got to give it your best.
The day you let down your guard, is the day you loose it. Never get used to your audience.
We thank God for giving us Grace to remain consistent and relevant each week. It’s not as easy as it may look. I have a very committed team behind the project, working so hard to make it look easy on the eye.”
