Did you see Moses of the Bible? He was in Nairobi!

Have you ever seen Moses? I saw Moses. He did not say a word, but I saw him. Stood there and looked at this guy who stared at me and said nothing: He just stared! To see Moses is to go back in time before Christ. The last time someone in the flesh saw Moses was in the Mount of transfiguration. The experience was so traumatizing that those who were present were instructed not to tell anybody!

Mathew 27:3 “…Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, “Lord it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters- one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. .  . ” vs.9.” After they come out of the mountain, Jesus instructed them, ‘do not tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead’.”

In this New Testament event, Moses and Elijah appeared because Jesus summoned them. The reason why Jesus had authority to enter into the sphere where Moses and Elijah dwell within eternity is because of his Nature as God. “For unto us the child is given, for unto us a child is born. And his name shall be ‘Emmanueli’, meaning, God with us. The only power able to affirm and confirm the figure of Moses or any of the prophets is Jesus Christ. The reason is because, of what St. Paul writes in the book of Colossians.

According to St. Paul,  “The son (YESU KRISTO) is the image of the invisible God, the first born over all creation. For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.” The reason why Peter and James could claim that they saw Elijah and Moses is because Jesus identified. Jesus was there in the beginning having been the creator on behalf of the Trinity of all things. They belong to Him, including all men. Therefore He knows all and can point to any and all beings and things that have been, are, and will be in specific reference without error! Both Visible and Invisible!

Any human being to claim that they have seen the real Moses, Mary, or Jesus should be tested for opium overdose. The Divine reference does not allow for humanity to see. In fact Jesus said to Thomas the doubter, “now that you see you believe? Blessed are those who believe without seeing.” This statement puts water on any one whose faith is based upon the desire to see and touch. We believe through the intent reference of the Holy Spirit within us. We do not believe because we see, Faith is Faith!

The “Moses” I have seen is one depicted on many pictures on walls. These pictures which are also present online emanated from the history of Church fathers.  Roman Catholicism has advocated for imagery. According to one church father, Jerome, the images of the saints are not to be worshiped but means to assist the believer in the Faith. It is the same for those who use the Rosary. The Rosary has no magic within the Catholic Doctrine; that is, true historical Catholic Doctrine. The Rosary like many of the pictures Catholics hang in their homes, of Mary are not meant to represent the actual Mary mother of Jesus. Rather, they are meant to assist believers in their faith.

Having grown up in a society where Moses was depicted in pictures as a White man with white hair and long white beard, and having seen the movie “The Ten Commandments”, it is easy for the poor in faith to be driven to some white homeless guy walking around Nairobi and crown him as Moses!

We who believe must always remember the Lords warning.  When He said to the disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. People will tell you, ‘Look, there He is,’ or ‘- Here He is.’ Do not go out or chase after them. For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His day.…” Luke 17.22ff

Those who have ears to hear let them hear.
