VIDEO: MP Oscar Sudi cracks up President Uhuru in Ruto’s backyard
Kapseret MP, Oscar Sudi, on Fridayย left President Uhuru Kenyatta in uncontrollable laughter after giving him a few pieces of advice to help him cope with the current turmoils in the nation.
This was during the official launchย of the ultra-modernย Rivatex which is a high scale textile manufacturing plant.
The charismatic MP asked the president not to be trifled by the simple rumours and gossipย always being spread by malicious politicians and know that the North Rift leaders have no qualms with him.
“Mheshimiwa Rais, wacha nikuambie siri moja, najua huko State House umefungiwa na stress nyingi sana, wakati mwingine kuwa ukitoroka unakuja huku kwetu mahali hakuna stress,” (Your Excellency, the president, let me tell you one secret, in State House there has to be a lot of stress, and you know what, you can always be sneaking from that place and be coming to Eldoret where there is no stress),” the legislator statedย leaving the president in a fit of laughter.

Sudi went on to divulge to the president that no one would believe thatย two communities, the Kalenjin and the Kikuyu would ever coexist peacefully after the 2007-08 post-election violence.
“We promise you that the pact that you founded with your Deputy William will never be shaken. We are in this together to stay,” he assured the Head of State.
The Kapsaret legislator went on to thank the president on the construction of a number of roads in the region and asked him to plan and be back for their official opening.
He also appreciated the national government for funding the revamping of the textile giant that was almost going out of business.
“I remember in 2013, you promised us to build this plant, and true to your words, you have done just that and you funded everything that we needed,” he noted.
He went on to tell the country’s commander-in-chief that they were his burden just like the president was theirs.
“You know you are our burden and we are your burden. You must carry us always in the same way that we carry you on our backs,ย sisi hatuwachani hivi karibuniย (we shall forever be together),” he mused making Uhuru laugh the more.
Uasin Gishu Governor, Jackson Mandago, also took this opportunity to throw some jibe to the rib-cracking legislator.
“I know your medicine. You should also plan for a visit to State House for a cup of tea,” he told Sudiย much to the delight of the listening crowd that burst to claps and ululations.
This comes afterย talks of the cold relations between the president and his deputy after the Head of State blasted Ruto’s political allies who have been touring the country to campaign for the coming 2022 General Election.
