Snoop Dogg’s heartbreaking post after the death of grandson
Snoop Dogg has made an emotional post after the tragic news that his baby grandson has died at just 10-days-old.
The rapper, 47, took to Instagram to say that he has “chosen to trust God”.
His youngest grandchild Kai Love was born on September 15 and died on September 25, but the cause of death is currently unknown.
Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., shared a video of a text conversation revealing that he’d turned to his faith in this extremely difficult time.
The clip said: “If you’re facing something you don’t understand choose to trust God.
“Remember all He has done for you.
“His ways are higher than ours. He is always good.”
Snoop didn’t comment but simply captioned the post with rose and prayer emojis.
The post was flooded with messages of support from his fans.
Baby Kai, who was the son of Snoop’s oldest child Corde, was reportedly in the neonatal intensive care unit in the hospital where he passed away, according to TMZ.
Yesterday Snoop’s wife Shante Broadus, 47, recorded a heart-breaking video of herself in tears as she sang along to the song The Love We Had Stays On My Mind on Instagram.
She posted: “To My Fifth G Baby Kai Love 9-15-19/9-25-19.”
Corde posted a picture of a whiteboard from the hospital with his son’s information on.
The whiteboard read that his plan for the day was “love and light”.
It had been written on the day he died.
