Uhuru is playing someone: Is it Raila Odinga or DP William Ruto?
Political analyst Herman Manyora on Monday, November 18, 2019, accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of playing either Deputy President Uhuru Kenyatta or Raila Odinga.
Sitting as a panelist on a morning television show, Manyora attributed his thoughts to the manner in which the President is handling the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) situation.
The political analyst, who was commenting on the November 18, Standard newspaper’s headline ‘Who’s fooling who?’ explained that the President could be giving different views to the two parties.
“I am sure when he is with Ruto he tells him there’s nothing, and he said it in Sagana, I have never discussed issues in regards to supporting Raila in 2022”
“But when he is with Raila he tells him; you know we have to play this thing carefully because William can bring us a problem” Explained the political analyst.
“At the end of the day, he must be fooling these guys, who’s fooling who?” he asked.
The Political analyst, however, stated that for the interest of the country’s peace the three leaders President Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto, and Raila Odinga should sit together and reach an agreement.
