Some Kenyans working in Saudi Arabia gives a different picture of working in the Middle East. In an interview with Jeremy Damaris of a Diaspora Television Network in USA, the many negative stories we hear is not all true,there are good benefits and some women’s lives have changed.

Miriam Mbucho has been in Saudi Arabia for 8 years,she started as a house girl but took a cause teaching English and she is now a founder of Kenyan ladies in Saudi Arabia.

Some Kenyans Working in Saudi Arabia Share a Different Perspective

While stories of mistreatment and hardship have often dominated headlines about Kenyan migrant workers in the Middle East, not all experiences are negative.

In an interview with Jeremy Damaris of a U.S.-based Diaspora Television Network, several Kenyans currently working in Saudi Arabia offered a contrasting view.

They acknowledged that while challenges exist, many of the horror stories circulating on social media and in the news don’t represent the full picture. “It’s not all bad,” one interviewee, Miriam, shared.

“There are many of us who have found decent employers, fair working conditions, and opportunities we wouldn’t have had back home.”
