Wetangula back in Cabinet as Ruto and allies dropped

Moses Wentang’ula  is back in Cabinet after a mini reshuffle announced Wednesday by the two Principals saw him reinstated as Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Thuita Mwangi has also been recalled to resume his duties as Permanent Secretary, at the Foreign Affairs ministry.

However, ODM rebels Eldoret North MP William Ruto and allies have been dropped from Cabinet in the changes by President Mwai Kibaki in consultation with Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Ruto has been replaced by Eldoret East MP Prof Margaret Kamar. Prior to her promotion, Prof. Kamar was the Assistant Minister for Environment and Mineral Resources.

Nominated MP Musa Sirma has been appointed EAC minister taking the place of Hellen Sambili who has been sacked.

The two Principals have also appointed new Assistant Ministers. Dan Mwanzo  has been named  assistant minister for Livestock Development replacing Dujis MP Aden Duale of ODM.

Mohammed Gabbow has been appointed assistant minister for Special Programme replacing Wajir North MP Mohammed Mohamud Ali of ODM.

South Mugirango MP Manson Nyamweya of Ford P is the assistant minister for Trade taking over from Bomachoge MP Simon Ogari.

Kapenguria MP Julius Murgor(ODM) is the assistant minister for Environment and Mineral Resources.
