Please pray for our Marriage Dynamics National conference over this thanksgiving holiday. The Marriage Dynamics National Forum (MDNF) is a nascent but powerful, interdenominational ministry whose objective is to bring together Kenyan couples in the US with a view to strengthening ourselves as we sojourn in a culture that is becoming increasingly hostile to Christian life principles in general and to biblical foundations of marriage in particular.
Those of us who cherish biblical values will increasingly become an endangered minority in this postmodern, relativistic and permissive age. Make no mistake. This rapacious worldview is no longer confining itself to the western world: it has spread its tentacles deep into the rest of the world.
Jesus saw it two thousand years ago when he said that in the last days “. . . iniquity shall abound, and the love of many shall wax cold.” (Mat 24:12) No, this is not an American phenomenon.
Like fire in the open grasslands of the East African savannah or the dry bush lands of Texas, worldly debauched lifestyles will proliferate across the entire globe.
It is within that backdrop of unabatedly iniquitous moral decadency characterized by perpetual invention of new forms of evil (Rom 1:30) that we people of God are called to live, thrive and serve!
We will therefore need to equip ourselves so that we “come behind in no gift” as we “wait for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1Cor 1:7) That is we converge this Thanksgiving weekend at Camp Coppas in Denton within the Dallas Metropolis. (November 24-27)
