It is with sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Samuel Macharia Karanja of Mugoiri location, Muranga County, after a 12 year battle with cancer, bravely borne.
Mr. Macharia was a loving husband to Grace Nyambura Macharia and father to Paul Macharia, Lydiah Macharia of Los Angeles, CA., James Macharia, Councilor  Martin Macharia of Muranga, Penny Macharia of Atlanta, GA., and Mercy Macharia-Banda of UK.
Father-in-law to Belonice Karanja, Faith Gachii, Rispha Mwangi, and Bishop Nathaniel Banda of Zambia. Loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are meeting at Central Park Hotel in Nairobi and at his home in Muranga for prayers and funeral arrangements.
