Irony: Sonko to act as a poor citizen in Jaguar’s new video

Irony: Sonko to act as a poor citizen in Jaguar’s new videoFlamboyant and flashy Member of Parliament Mike Sonko is set to showcase the irony of the year. The sometimes ‘Ill mannered’ politician aka Mr . Money bag was cast in a role of a poor peasant suffering under the leadership of corrupt political leaders.

Yes! Sonko acting as the poor citizen, while in real sense he gives his salary to his constituents. The video shoot, which is being done by Ogopa Deejays, started last week and will end tomorrow.Jaguar told a local daily, “Sonko is a man of the people.

He has said before that he would like to rap in a song and here he is, doing just that.”The song is titled ‘matapeli’. It incisively discusses how corrupt politicians steal away from innocent Kenyans.

The Kenyan Daily Post earlier on wrote on this song. “The beat is closely similar to the kigeugeu song. His intonation is similar too. In his song, he claims that he has already realized that MP’s want to just feast off poor civilians.

He gives them a hefty clap for playing on Kenyans. The 3.3o minute song is an initiative to push Kenyans to make a change on the leadership in Kenya. One of his catchy lines is, “Ni mimi tu na wewe, tunaweza kubadilisha”.

It comes at a time that Jaguar has been linked to be up for a parliamentary seat in Makadara. His close relationship with Sonko has raised eyebrows amongst many people while others have linked him to drugs, claims which he has refuted vehemently. This song will be a hit especially with the election fever settling in.” Source:
