Video: Conjestina Achieng hospitalised at Mathari Psychiatric Hospital
Former multiple boxing champion Congestina Achieng’ has been admitted at the Mathari Psychiatric hospital.Achieng’ was hospitalized earlier this evening after a delegation led by the Prime Mnister wife Ida Odinga, visited her and convinced her to seek psychiatric help.
The delegation was visiting the former boxer, who lives with the sister and is reported to be in a state mental decline.
The PM wife took food supplies to the family but, Achieng’s delusional state sought for further help. According to sources at the hospital Achieng’ is not mad as many allege adding that her failed career in boxing could have caused depression.
The doctor further stated that 500,000 shillings would see her get better treatment at a private clinic for a year.
