Thursday, the 11th of October 2012 – The police have confirmed the arrest of two suspects they believe were part of the three-man gang that robbed an M-pesa shop at Ngara early this month.
The duo was arrested in the Shauri Moyo estate of Nairobi on Wednesday. A third suspect is still at large.
The three robbed the M-pesa shop at Ngara on the Tuesday the 2nd of October. The daylight robbery was captured by hidden cameras and has been making the rounds on the internet ever since. During the robbery, the three shot an M-pesa/ pharmacy attendant and made away with about 50,000 shillings from the till.
Police sources said the three will appear before court sometime today.
