Careless drivers, be warned. Senator Mike Sonko may ensure that you lose your driving licence. Sonko has said he is working with Governor Kidero to give Nairobi strict laws to tame careless drivers in the city. “We are coming up with strict laws since some drivers don’t care about passengers’ lives.
If they are not going to change then we will revoke their licences for good,” he said. “We will also arrest officers who collude with drivers and matatu owners who protect their vehicles whenever they are involved in accidents or break traffic rules.”
