She was born and raised in Kisumu, Kenya and later relocated to Nairobi Kenya to persue a career with the Kenya commercial bank. In search of better life for herself and her family, she relocated to USA to persue a nursing career. The reckless and indiscriminate hand of death robbed her the American dream of one day owning a nursing home and giving back to the needy in her native country Kenya.
Nyanyelo, as she was fondly known, was an inspiration and a shining gem to many who knew and got to interact with her. Her tenderness, kindness and motherly love touched and inspired us all. She will be laid to rest at her native home in Usenge, Bondo. Kenya.
