A step brother to former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka died on Sunday allegedly after he was hit with a bottle by the father of a girl he had a love affair with.
James Nzilu Musyoka, 38, bled to death from the stab wound in the neck inflicted by a bottle shard and died moments later in the suspect’s compound at Ngalange village, Tseikuru District, Kitui County.
Tseikuru OCPD Ezekiel Chepkwony confirmed the incident that occurred at Muthui Muli’s home on Sunday at around 3pm.
Chekwony said the deceased, a former General Service Unit officer, paid his girlfriend, Ms Nduni Muthui, a visit at her father’s homewhile the old mzee was in the farm.
“Initial reports are that the deceased appeared drunk and was sleeping on a mkeka in the girl’s house when her father returned to find him in his compound,” said the OCPD.
