Word of the Day:Walking in humility

Jesus is and should always be the center of everything we do. As followers of Christ, we should ensure that Christ is seen more clearly while we remain in the background. If God has given you the gift of singing, speaking, writing and other talents, these talents should always bring glory to Christ rather than to self.

However, most times we find ourselves seeing ourselves better than others and letting our talents bring glory to ourselves. We shouldn’t demand for attention and achievement rather we should lead our lives in a quiet subtle way and to work hard to bring honor to the name of Christ.

Let us remember that we should concentrate on pleasing God by living in a way that attracts people to Jesus. He should be our number one audience. We are to live for God and not others by trusting God’s opinion about us because at the end of the day, that is what counts.

Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.”
