ANOTHER KENYAN COUNCILLOR ELECTED IN LONDON

Cllr Peter Kim Bernards along with his wife paid a courtesy call on the High Commissioner H.E Lazarus Amayo.

Another Kenyan Councillor has been elected in the recently concluded local council elections in May 2014. Councillor Kim (Kimani) Bernard was elected in Forest Hill Ward, Lewisham  in South London.

Kim was elected through Labour Party. This brings the number of Kenyan elected officials in UK to four. Mayor Elizabeth Kangethe, Councillor Daniel Munyambu, Councillor. Mary Kiruhi and now Councillor Kim Bernard.

Kim is a brother-in-law to Dennis Njoroge Marigi and father-in-law to Joseph Njogu Kimani son of Pastor Elijah Kimani of Coventry, UK.
