Alfred Mutua is doing a splendid job in Machakos, but that does not mean he is the only working governor. The former government spokesman has a better PR machinery and lots of media contacts that guarantee him constant coverage, unlike many of his counterparts.
Hassan Joho is another governor doing some good job in Mombasa. He may not have done big projects like his Machakos counterpart, but he’s trying.
Mombasa city is visibly cleaner with beautification works having been carried out, and now modern traffic lights have been installed. Likoni fire station is also in the process of being upgraded.
