NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 26 โ Nairobi Aviation College says it may be forced to close its doors following the recent TV expose that alleged massive irregularities in the acquisition of certificates.
Officials from the college who appeared before the parliamentary Education Committee Thursday morning say they may consider the option because of the bad publicity that has negatively affected the institution.
They told the committee that the decision, if taken, will affect some 400 members of staff currently working at the institution.
Committee Chairperson Sabina Chege has however cautioned them not to consider the option as yet because the government has not ordered them to close down.
Students from the college caused mayhem in the capital city soon after the story aired on NTV, destroying property, before some of them were arrested and charged.
