NYERI Governor Nderitu Gachagua has been discharged from a UK hospital.
Deputy Governor Samuel Wamathai said yesterday Gachagua is now resting and will be back in the country in 10 days.
Wamathai said the governor’s seat has been “very hot” for him for the two months he has been holding brief for Gachagua.
He said the work is demanding.
Gachagua was last seen in Nyeri at Dedan Kimathi Kamukunji Stadium during last December 12 Jamhuri Day celebration.
This comes barely a week after Nyeri Senator Mutahi Kagwe visited the governor at the hospital and assured residents that Gachagua will soon return to Nyeri.
