Through the International Confederation of Kenya Diaspora Organizations- ICKDO-, the Diaspora will work together via multiple partnerships, in order to be able to handle large and complicated projects in an efficient and timely manner.

The Diaspora will also extend their partnership model to include local entrepreneurs and innovators in Kenya. Through this process, the Diaspora women, youth and disabled, will now be able to take advantage of the apportioned 30% of all public entities procurement spends within a given financial year.

The Government of Kenya has in addition developed legislation to facilitate the implementation of this objective through the Public Procurement and Disposal Regulations. This affirmative opportunity to do business with the Government will generate employment for this affirmative group and others and help in the Diaspora driven push for socio-economic development of the country.
