Speaking during the rally held at Uhuru Park, Mr Odinga said that the solidarity account, whose paybill number is 672672, would provide a platform for every Kenyan to contribute to the teachers’ kitty.
The CORD leader added that the account already had Sh200,000 which had been contributed by him and his counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka.
The move was received as a bad joke by some, while others thought it was a good direction taken by the coalition.
