Kenyans Reactions to Raila’s Solidarity Account

The solidarity account launched on Wednesday by CORD leader Raila Odinga to help striking teachers, has intrigued Kenyans who have taken to social media to express their thoughts on the drive.

Speaking during the rally held at Uhuru Park, Mr Odinga said that the solidarity account, whose paybill number is 672672, would provide a platform for every Kenyan to contribute to the teachers’ kitty.

The CORD leader added that the account already had Sh200,000 which had been contributed by him and his counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka.

The move was received as a bad joke by some, while others thought it was a good direction taken by the coalition.
