Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has requested prayers for his father who is admitted at the Nairobi Hospital ICU.
Sonko did not give details in his Facebook post on Friday night, in which he said; “Dear Kenyans, I need your prayers”.
“God I believe you heal. You healed baby Satrin, baby Scandy Chelangat, Mariam and millions of patients with serious complications,” he wrote.
“Heal my dad and all the patients admitted in different hospitals countrywide in the mighty name of Jesus.”
Sonko has sponsored the treatment of several patients abroad, including Chelangat, who had a a cancerous growth on her left eye.
The Senator flew Chelangat, who hails from Bureti in Kericho, to Basavatarakam indo-American cancer hospital & research institute for the operation in May.
In an earlier Facebook post, Sonko reported that she was in good health following a routine check at Lions SightFirst Eye Hospital in Loresho.
