VIDEO: Drama As ODM Delegates Fight As Raila Watches

ODM DelegatesDrama ensued at an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) meeting in Kandui, Bungoma County, after delegates turned physical against one another in the presence of party leader Raila Odinga.

The scuffle reportedly began after the meeting kicked off when delegates from Sirisia constituency heckled their counterparts from other regions leading to the confrontation.

The meeting which was also attended by area Senator Moses Wetangula, ODM Secretary General Ababu Namwamba among other party leaders, was delayed as the attendees shoved and pulled one another’s garments.

Efforts by Namwamba to calm the storm were futile as the irate delegates shouted down anyone who tried to address them, forcing police officers to intervene before the tussle turned to be a fist fight.

According to witnesses, the disagreement emerged when supporters of Bungoma ODM chairman John Waluke, who had been accused of being a Jubilee mole, could not take the accusations hence retaliating in fury.

When sanity resumed, the leaders in attendance called on the delegates to work in unity as they embarked on sensitizing their followers to turn up in large numbers in the the ongoing voter registration exercise.
