Passing of Mzee Francis Ngugi Karanja – The family of Pastor Stanley Karanja of Baltimore, Maryland, together with relatives in Murang’a, Kenya, are deeply saddened to announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Francis Ngugi Karanja. He passed away peacefully on the morning of July 10, 2016, at 12:45 a.m. Mzee Karanja was receiving care at Kenol Hospital near Thika, Kenya. He was 88 years old.
Mzee Karanja, a respected elder and cherished family patriarch, leaves behind a legacy of wisdom, faith, and unwavering love. His passing has brought great sorrow to his family, friends, and the communities he touched both in Kenya and abroad.
In Baltimore, the family is welcoming friends and well-wishers for daily evening prayers beginning Monday, October 10, 2016. These will be held at their residence located at 14 Woodcove Court, Parkville, MD 21234. The gatherings will provide a space for comfort, fellowship, and reflection. Loved ones can come together to honor his memory.
