The head of state, on his official twitter page, asked Kenyans to keep the peace as the country awaits the ruling.
Uhuru is the third respondent in petition filed by Raila Odinga.
The NASA leader is challenging his declaration as the winner of the August 8 presidential race.
“Sharing some moments with our magnificent national heritage as we await the conclusion of the judicial process. Keep the peace,” he said.
The post drew mixed reactions from his followers, some of whom lauded the President for promoting domestic tourism.
While he was at the expedition, his lawyers were battling in court ahead of the September 1 ruling.
