VIDEO: The incoming US Ambassador to Kenya Sen Kyle McCarter and his wife Victoria McCarter received a historic warm reception by the Kenyan Community in St. Louis.
He spoke about his commitment to fight corruption, terrorism and to foster unity in Kenya. His priority is to encourage programs that will help Kenyans to be financially independent, great leadership and youth empowerment.
Ambassador Kyle will be taking over from Ambassador Robert F. Godec who has served as US Ambassador in Kenya since 2012. Godec is one of the longest serving US ambassador in Kenya and was also known to be neutral between the ruling party and the opposition.
