Death Announcement For Bishop Joseph Albert Ogutu Of Andalusia Alabama: Bishop Joseph Albert Ogutu, age 76, of Andalusia (formerly of Nairobi, Kenya), passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019, in an Andalusia medical center.
Local funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later by Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia. The family will hold a memorial service in Nairobi, Kenya at a later date.
Bishop: Joseph Ogutu is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joyce Ogutu of Andalusia (formerly of Nairobi, Kenya); three children, Thomas Ogutu of Nairobi, Kenya, Samuel Ogutu of Arlington, Texas, and Emmanuel Ogutu of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren, Sally Adhiambo of Nairobi, Kenya, Belinda Akoth of Nairobi, Kenya, Imani Ogutu of Fort Worth, Texas, and Charlene Auma of Nairobi, Kenya; and four sisters, Hellen Oseno, Hellen Awuor, Mariane Axel, and Theresa Adhiambo. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Florence Achieng, Consolata Aoko, Roseline Auma and two brothers, John Ogutu, and Peter Aluoch.
