KAMEME Fm’s head of Radio Wanjiku wa Kibe FIRED!!: Thursday, August 30, 2012 – Wanjiku wa Kibe known for her soft spokeness and motherly advices on Kameme Fm’s mid morning shows and gospel countdown has been fired. The head of radio at Mediamax was fired yesterday by management in what they call non-performance.
Contrary to the allegation some the employees at Mediamax said she may have had bad blood with some of the management due to her ways of handling the prestigious office.
Apparently it seems being on the wrong side with management or editors at mediamax sends you packing as some journalists at K-24 were fired recently after they had differences with their editor.
The hapless media house is struggling for their paper and stations while they face stiff competition in the industry. Their vernacular station Mbaitu Fm is also struggling as they try to popularize the People Daily which was once a news giant.
