Former Cabinet minister Arthur Magugu has died.
Mr Magugu, a former Githunguri MP, passed on Saturday morning at his Nairobi home.
Area MP Njoroge Baiya told the Nation that Mr Magugu died at around 11.30am.
He said the former minister was resting at home at the time of his death.
Mr Magugu has been ailing for some time.
The late Magugu served in different ministries including Finance, Health, Transport and Communication and Commerce.

About Arthur Kinyanjui Magugu
Arthur Kinyanjui Magugu (1934 – 15 September 2012) was a Kenyan politician who served as Minister for Finance from 1982 to 1988. He was a beneficiary of the Kennedy Airlift in 1959. As a KANU MP he represented the Githunguri Constituency from 1969 to 1988, and from 2002 to 2007.
