Uhuru Kenyatta in Trouble as Kiambu County threatens to leave TNA

Tuesday December 11, 2012 – The National Alliance (TNA) supporters in Kiambu County have threatened to walk out of the party if it fails to respect their views and ideologies.
Led by former Limuru MP George Nyanja, the leaders said they have no confidence in the party officials. They however said they will support Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta in the Presidential race.
Nyanja said Kiambu residents will soon hold a rally at Kirigiti Stadium in Kiambu town and decide the way forward. He said TNA officials do not respect Kiambu people and their views.
โ€œWe cannot go on with TNA and we will hold a major rally led by retired bishop Peter Njenga at Kirigiti Stadium and walk out of the party because the party leadership has disrespected Kiambu by not respecting their views,โ€ Nyanja said.
He said the party refused to cancel the results for the election of officials, which were marred by violence.
Nyanja further stated that Juja MP William Kabogo is colluding with TNA officials in Kiambu County to muzzle his competitors in the looming TNA nominations.
