Video:Ngilu Wants Raila Ignored & Police Deputy Inspector General Gazetted

 – Water Minister Charity Ngilu has urged President Kibaki to ignore Prime Minister Raila Odinga‘s protests over the appointment  of two Deputy Inspector-Generals of Police, saying he is always a cry baby since the formation of coalition government.

Speaking in Masinga Dam in Machakos where she commissioned the Masinga- Kitui water and sanitation project, Ngilu said by blocking the appointment of Grace Kaindi, a Kamba, Raila does not mean well for the Kamba.
“I am shocked that Raila can block an appointment meant to honour the Kamba people by President,” Ngilu who is also the Narc party leader said.
She accused Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka of keeping quiet as “Raila plots to rob the Kamba people their influential position”.
“Kalonzo has remained mum. It is clear he does not want a Kamba to get the post,” Ngilu said.
Ngilu asked President Kibaki to ignore the murmurs and go ahead and gazette the new appointees.
