Video:Miguna still an angry man, says that he want Uhuru to give Raila a thrashing

Miguna endorses Uhuru after unveiling new book.

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 16- Prime Minister Raila Odingaโ€™s former advisor Miguna Miguna has unveiled yet another explosive book titled โ€˜Kidneyโ€™s for the Kingโ€™ which paints a gloomy picture of most Kenyan leaders, particularly his former boss.

In the book launched on Saturday afternoon, Miguna largely focuses on the CORD Presidential candidate and his cronies, questioning their leadership qualities.

Miguna claims that Raila is not a man of his words and links him to several corruption scandals in which he is alleged to have participated.

โ€œMost people expected me either to partake in the corruption and other transgressions or to shut up and my refusal to do either disappoints them, particularly Mr Odinga,โ€ says Miguna in the second chapter of his 369-page book published by Integrity Books.

During the launch of his book, Miguna openly endorsed Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyattaโ€™s bid for the presidency, arguing that he would help Kenya achieve the reforms it had been yearning for.

โ€œBecause we only have two horses and my previous horse is a blind one. Raila Odinga is blind, he cannot take us through the desert and we are facing a storm. Are we going to ride a blind horse into oblivion or we are going to take a horse that will take us through,โ€ he posed.

On this basis, he said, โ€œI can say without equivocation that I am going to back Uhuru in this campaign.โ€

He also took a swipe at the international community for positions taken recently against a possible victory of Kenyatta and his running mate William Ruto because of the ICC cases.

Miguna argued that issuing economic and political sanctions against Kenya were retrogressive and would have a ripple effect on the entire East African region.

โ€œIt might be naรฏve to think that Kenya is a banana republic. I think they could do some of the things they are threatening to do but it might not be as calamitous as some of us have projected it to be,โ€ he said.

โ€œBut I donโ€™t know. I am not Makau Mutua, who sits in New York and plays around with his crystal ball because I donโ€™t have any,โ€ he retorted.

Miguna claims in his book that some of the planned consequences from the West include moving the United Nations offices from Nairobi among others.

โ€œI have held meetings with former diplomats and they have told me that it is possible. That they could cancel trade ties or close down the UNEP. But they are not saying that they will cut diplomatic ties,โ€ he explained.

The book which is the second after the controversial โ€˜Peeling Back The Maskโ€™ also delves into the politics in government including events surrounding the sensitive ICC matter and other possible high level perpetrators.
