The Alliance leaders Uhuru Kenyatta and running mate William Ruto expressed hope that their supporters will decide who the President will be during the first round.
Addressing a mammoth rally at Uhuru Park, implored upon supporters to vote peacefully and wait for the results.
Uhuru however made a passionate appeal to its rival CORD to be ready to concede defeat if they lose the elections rather than give conditions.
Uhuru was referring to the alleged statements that Odinga made during an interview with the Financial Times, in which he (Odinga) allegedly said that he would not concede defeat in peace.
‘I ask Raila to accept defeat in peace. We want peace,’ said Uhuru.
‘The Choice is simple. You can choose to vote in those who talk and don’t act, or choose a team that will change the lives of the Kenyan people,’ said Uhuru.
Uhuru noted that he and his team had been selling manifestos in all regions in the country, saying that Kenyans now knew what his team had in store for the nation.
‘We want to take Kenya to greater heights. We want to help the youth and the women in the country, we want to improve the health sector and infrastructure in the country,’ said Uhuru.
Uhuru stated that his competitors have no policies to sell to the Kenyan people.
‘Reforms are for all Kenyans. We promise to change the lives of the people,’ said Uhuru.
Uhuru also asked Cord flag bearer Raila Odinga to accept defeat in peace if he loses the March 4th election.
Uhuru who had alongside William Ruto,Najib Balala and Charity Ngilu received his Peace Certificate from Peace Ambassador Songstress Linet Munyali aka Size 8, reiterating he wanted a peaceful election for the nation.
‘I am asking for peace, go vote in peace, and later go home and wait for the results,’ stated Uhuru.
Uhuru noted that the Nairobi County vote for his Jubilee team was important and asked supporters to vote for Gideon Mbuvi aka Sonko as Senator, Ferdinand Waititu as Governor and Rachael Shebesh as the Women Representative.
Uhuru asked Governor Aspirant Jimnah Mbaru to abandon his Gubernatorial race so that the Governor vote is not split.
‘I am asking Mbaru to let the Jubilee team win the Gubernatorial seat, we shall give him a seat in government,’ said Uhuru.
Uhuru’s running mate Ruto, stated that the Jubilee team was ready to take over office as early as Tuesday, noting that leadership must be measured by competence and judged on merit.
Ruto asked those spreading allegations of rigging in the Jubilee government to stop on order to maintain peace.
Ruto asked the competitors to also uphold peace and respect the will of the people.
‘I want to ask Raila to respect the will of the people because the decision and will of the people is the decision and will of God,’ said Ruto.
Balala, Ngilu , Shebesh and Sonko all echoed the statements of peace, calling for a round one win for the Jubilee camp.
This was the last political rally that the Jubilee team will hold, this according to requirements of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
